CRHP wishes a fond farewell to our 2007-08 Mabelle Arole Fellow, Bernadine Han. Like her predecessors, Bernie has been a wonderful asset and has contributed greatly to our organization over the past 10 months. We wish her much success in her medical studies at UCSF. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our next MA fellow, Jeffrey Holzberg, who is due to arrive in August.

The CRHP community is excited to mark the 75th birthday of our co-founder and director, Dr. Raj Arole!
To mark the occasion, over 200 social organizations will felicitate Raj on 1st May 2008. They will publish a souvenir of articles, stories and wishes from all of you who have been touched by the life and work of Dr. Arole. Thanks to all for sending your wishes and kind words.

The 2-month Diploma Course in Community-Based Health and Development will commence tomorrow. This year, CRHP has received a group of 11 participants from India, Nepal, Tailand, Ivory Coast and USA.

CRHP has entered the Ashoka Changemakers Collaborative Competition - Disruptive Innovations in Health and Health Care. The entry is for our new Water For Life Program, which aims to utilize Biosand filters in our project areas along with other water and sanitation related activities.
